As this course deals with highly controversial
subjects it is likely that there will be disagreements among participants. Your informed opinion is welcome,
independent of whether or not it coincides with that of the majority or mine.
Personal
attacks
Debating ideas is a welcome part of the course,
but critical comments should not be personal. If you ever feel personally attacked because of your
opinions, please let me know immediately.
Such attacks are unacceptable.
Honesty
We are investigating a field where fraud is a
possibility. Absolute honesty is
required Ð both in presenting and analyzing experimental results accurately and
in presenting all results, including those that diverge from expectations and
desires. Any dishonesty will not
be tolerated.
