  • Welcome to ECEN 3250.  This page and the links below will be regularly updated throughout the semester with assignments, exam announcements, supplementary course materials, etc., so please bookmark it and check it regularly.

 

  • Lab 7 begins on Tuesday, March 9th.  Please begin reading chapter 4 and the read the lab procedure to prepare of this lab.
  • HW 6 is due on Monday, March 8th.  Please note that prob. 5.139 has been removed from the original assignment.
  • Exam 2 will be given in class on Wednesday, March 17th.  It will cover HW 5 and 6 and associated lectures and reading.
  • HW 5 due date has been extended to Monday, March 1.  Lab 6 will begin on Tuesday, March 2.  Prelabs are due from each student.
  • (2/19)  HW 5 is due on Friday, Feb. 26.  Current reading is chapter 5 (BJT’s)
  • Lab 4 has and extra credit section, worth a total of 50 pts.  Use the current break in the lab schedule to take advantage of this! 
  • (2/8)  HW 4 solutions have been posted.  Note that the solutions to problems 3.107 and 114 have errors that are noted on the homework solution page.
  • (1/31)  HW 3 solutions have been posted.  HW 4 is due on Friday, February 5th.
  • (1/26)  Exam 1 will be given in class on Friday, February 12th.  It will cover HW 1-4 and associated lectures and reading.
  • (1/25)  Add-on Kit for Lab 3.  Please remember that lab 3 requires an add-on kit which must be purchased before the start of Tuesday’s lab.  One kit per lab group is sufficient.
  • (1/24)  HW 3 is due on Friday, Jan 29.  HW 2 solutions are posted.
  • (1/15)  General notes:  Office hours for the TA’s have been updated since originally posted – please refer to the “General Information” link below.  The assignments and dues dates for HW’s 2-4 are currently posted.  Relevant reading continues sequentially through chapter 3 for these assignments.
  • Welcome to ECEN 3250.  The lectures will be held on MWF in ECCR 1B51 from 1-1:50 PM, with the first class meeting on Monday, January 11th.
  • (1/11) Reading assignments for the beginning of the semester:  Refer to the online PSpice manual and/or SPICE text to prepare for Lab 1; Begin reading Ch. 1 (all) and Ch. 3, pp. 139-153 of Microelectronic Circuits
  • Lab:  The first lab meeting will be on Tuesday, January 12.  The prelab is due at the beginning of the session.
