*** There is no specific grading sheet for Report # 6:  your report will be graded w/ respect to the quality of other groups' reports (presentation is KEY!) 

 


Grading Policy
  1. Experiment 1: 5%
  2. Experiment 2: 10%
  3. Experiment 3: 15%
  4. Experiment 4: 10%
  5. Experiment 5: 15%
  6. Experiment 6: 15%
  7. Prelabs (total): 10%
  8. Quizzes: 10%
  9. Laboratory work: 10%
Prelabs are due at the beginning of the Friday lecture before the lab starts.  Prelabs turned in at the beginning of the first lab session will be docked 25%;  Prelabs later than the beginning of the lab will be graded, BUT NOT SCORED.
All lab reports are due at the beginning of the lab session.  Reports late by under 1 week will be docked 10%; two weeks 25%, three weeks 50%.  Reports more than three weeks late will NOT BE ACCEPTED and no reports will be accepted after May 11 at 5 PM.  (The beginning means within 15 minutes after the class officially begins: NO EXCEPTIONS!)

 

 
 
 
 
 

         Lab Quizzes will be given during certain lab sessions.  Quizzes will be short and will either cover material in the prelabs or concepts from the current lab experiment.
 


Important Dates
  1. No lab on January 18 for Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
  2. No lab on March 22 for Spring Break
  3. Lab 6 project demostrations in the lab: May 3
  4. Last day of classes: May 3
  5. No reports accepted after this date: May 11 at 5:00 PM
