Simulink: Full-wave diode rectifier modeling

- Simulink model: full wave rectifier with R-C load
- Screen shot: setting the configuration parameters to a solver, tolerances, etc. that converge and run quickly. Diodes are difficult to simulate. The full-wave rectifier model employs a successive approximation algorithm to solve the implicit equations of the exponential diode equation with series resistance. Algebraic loop problems prevent the model from working correctly in Simulink unless a small capacitor is added to the dc side of the rectifier. It is necessary to choose the correct solver, and set rel tol and max step size parameters appropriately.
