June 2011 - Juliet teaches CU Research at the speed of light
Juliet taught a weeklong course for underrepresented students focused
on electromagnetism. The course was supported by a grant
from the CU Diversity and Excellence office. The goals of this program
were to heighten students interest in science and technology, expose them to
current optics research on the CU campus, and promote interest and
participation in STEM fields. A link to the final report can be found

January 2011 - Juliet starts women group for undergraduate and graduate students in ECEE
The group has several major goals including: creating a community atmosphere among ECEE
students, providing students with role models, facilitating interaction between graduate
and undergraduate students, and promoting professional and technical development of the students.
