Bio for Matt Lessem

Matt Lessem received a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in
1997. He is currently a graduate student in Applied Cultural
Anthropology at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Matt completed an undergraduate thesis entitled "Educators Attitudes
in One High School Serving Rio Grande Colonias". Current research
interests include the application of ethnographic method and cultural
theory to the evaluation of educational programs and the use of
educational technologies to reach students of varrying backgrounds and
abilities.

Matt also has also worked as a professional computer support
technician and system administrator at UT Austin, CU Boulder, and the
Boulder Daily Camera. He posseses general knowledge of Windows,
Macintosh, and Unix operating systems, various software packages,
hardware repair, and local area network installation and maintenance.
