Problem Set 1. The solution is due Fri. 08/26/11.
Problem Set 2. The solution is due Fri. 09/02/11.
Problem Set 3. The solution is due Fri. 09/09/11.
Practice Problems for Exam 1 and solutions. Turn in the work that you did to solve the problems Mon. 09/19/11 at the beginning of the class period (exam 1). Two problems will be selected at random and graded.
Problem Set 4. The solution is due Fri. 09/23/11. Extended until Monday 09/26/11 to add more office hours for questions.
Problem Set 5. The solution is due Fri. 09/30/11.
Problem Set 6. The solution is due Fri. 10/07/11.
Practice Problems for Exam 2 and solutions. Turn in the work that you did to solve the problems Mon. 10/17/11 at the beginning of the class period (exam 2). Two problems will be selected at random and graded.
Problem Set 7. The solution is due Fri. 10/21/11. Extended until Monday 10/24/11.
Problem Set 8. The solution is due Fri. 10/28/11.
Problem Set 9. The solution is due Fri. 11/04/11. Extended until Monday 11/07/11.
Practice Problems for Exam 3 and solutions. Turn in the work that you did to solve the problems Mon. 11/14/11 at the beginning of the class period (exam 3). Two problems will be selected at random and graded.
Problem Set 10. The solution is due Mon. 11/28/11.
No class on Fri. 11/18/11. Your assignment is to read Sections 4-4 and 4-5 in the book and work examples 4-15, 4-16, and 4-19 in these sections.
Problem Set 11. The solution is due Fri. 12/02/11. Extended until Monday 12/05/11.
Practice Problems for Final Exam and solutions. Turn in the work that you did to solve the problems at the beginning of the Final Exam. The date and time of the Final Exam is Wednesday Dec. 14, 2011, 1:30pm - 4:00pm. The location is the regular classroom (MUEN E0046). The exam is closed book/notes, but one sheet (8.5"x11", both sides) of your own notes is allowed.
