Call for Papers

The 2000 ACC will be held June 28-30 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, IL. The technical program consists of 18 parallel tracks of invited and contributed paper sessions, including 2 tutorial sessions. In addition, a wide spectrum of valuable and interesting topics will be offered in 7 technical workshops.

The technical program reflects the rapid growth and strong interest in the field of control systems engineering, which provides a good balance between control theory and a broad spectrum of practical applications. The 2000 ACC has placed an emphasis on Industry and Applications (I&A), with several special tracks on I&A sessions organized and identified in the Technical Program. To further serve the interests of our industrial participants, the 2000 ACC also has a couple Tutorial Sessions, each starting off with an hour-long survey of the field followed by three brief state-of-the-art presentations of industry applications.

The technical program also includes three Plenary Lectures by outstanding control systems researchers: Professor E. M. Greitzer, Professor K. S. Narendra, and the 1999 Donald P. Eckman Award winner Professor Andrew R. Teel.
